Where we have been
Completed projects from the past 6 months.
Every job plotted at the site we were actually asked to measure, not a coverage map drawn from a list of towns we would like to work in. Manchester is home; the rest is the job.

Published work
A night you can listen to.
Eight measured hours beside a warehouse estate, published as an instrument: the calibrated recording tied to the level trace, playable from any point, with a running count of every noise event above the level the planning assessment predicted.

Jamie was very helpful at explaining to us how best to approach solving our issue prior to having any sound monitoring work undertaken. A great guy and highly recommended.

A horrific view at what the residents are facing on a daily basis. No one should have to live like this, our homes are our sanctuary and this site needs to be reviewed by someone competent that isn’t benefiting financially

Continuously provides an excellent service. Have used and recommended their services for a number of years and not once had a bad service or problem with their work.
Reliable and knowledgeable acoustic specialist who can turn survey work around quickly. Always a pleasure to work with them.
Fantastic service and reliable to deliver on deadlines set. Thank you Jamie and team.

How we run a job
One point of contact. A full practice behind it.
A named lead, start to finish
The engineer who scopes your survey runs it and writes the report. Nothing changes hands, so nothing gets missed and nothing is explained twice.
The range of a larger practice
Twenty services, a full Class 1 instrument fleet and the standards library behind them. A direct line does not have to mean a narrow one.
Built for programmes
Quotes back the same working day, reports within five working days of survey. Tell us the validation date and we will work to it.
Every scale, every sector
A single plot with one heat pump, or a distribution park with a Section 106. Same standard of work, same person answering.
Questions
Before you get in touch.
Do I need a noise survey or a noise impact assessment?
A survey measures what the site sounds like; an assessment interprets those measurements against the standards your council applies and draws a conclusion. Planning conditions almost always want the assessment. Send us the council's wording and we'll tell you which it is; the survey data feeds the assessment either way, so you never pay to measure twice.
How much does a noise assessment cost?
Most planning noise surveys, survey and report together, land between £1,450 and £2,500 +VAT. Desk-based work comes in under that; complex multi-source schemes above it. Every job is a fixed fee agreed up front: send a postcode and a sentence and we'll come back with the number.
How fast can you turn a report around?
The report lands within five working days of the survey, and most jobs run instruction to final report inside two weeks. Quotes come back the same working day. If you're against a validation deadline, say so; rush delivery is available.
Do you cover my area?
Yes. We're based in Ancoats, Manchester, and work across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Most surveys use unattended monitoring, so the programme runs the same wherever the site is, and fees are fixed up front.

Send a postcode and a sentence.
That is genuinely enough to price most jobs. You will have a fixed quote back the same working day.
